What fun we had! We supplied some of our beautiful Lyons cast-iron-radiators to the BBC for their very successful programme starring Nick Knowles 'DIY SOS'. The programme went out on November 5th 2007 and featured a beautiful Victorian house in Ramsgate, where the team created an exquisite period sitting room. Christina, Sue and Emma were filmed on the show delivering the radiators (How embarrassing, they were SO nervous!!).
Our radiators in particular received gasps of delight from the homeowner when the room was revealed to her. We have to say the team were all absolutely lovely, and they actually do all the work! We always thought that shows like that had a team of unsung heroes that did the work behind the scenes, but when we arrived they were all hard at it and the cameras were not rolling.
