February can prove to be one of the coldest months of the year, and keeping warm during the night is essential in beating the winter blues.
The government has providing a few tips and recommendations for staying warm at night during the winter. Keeping the temperature above 18°C (65°F) in your bedroom overnight is considered a top priority. There are several radiators that are used in the bedroom, but flat panel radiators are often favoured because they keep the room well-heated as well as providing aesthetic touches.
In the bed, it is advised that you shouldn't use hot water bottles in the same bed as an electric blanket, even if the blanket is switched off. Furthermore, it is recommended that you unplug blankets before you go to bed, unless they have a thermostat control for safe all-night use.
Designer radiators also look very good in the bedroom, and can be used to warm towels and clothes as well as providing a unique look and great heat. Keeping warm is essential in the winter, but this requirement doesn't have to come at the sacrifice of your interior design. Modern radiators are made to provide a function, but also look good as they are doing it.
